Biography:
Lebogang Brenda Mathebela, who is originally from Klopper village in the Ephraim Mogale District of Limpopo province, holds a BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Unisa and is registered as a Candidate Engineering Technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Engineering which focuses on her research interest in fiber mechanics, modelling and simulations. Her quality assurance background, honed while working on several team projects – including the Alstom and Gibela, Bombardier IFE, Transnet, General Electric, Prasad and China locomotive projects – has expanded her academic interest in the field of manufacturing engineering and technology, which she currently teaches at Unisa.
