By the end of the conference, it was clear that Unisa was in the right direction with its ICT advancements. However, since the institution prides itself on being an innovative university, the Unisa team has worked on recommendations to improve its ICT networks over time. In the immediate future, the team will be implementing efforts to advance technology-mediated, quality learning and teaching in order to enhance student success rates. These efforts include developing the university's digital policy framework and the digital transformation strategy, strengthening partnerships with private, government and economic sectors, investing in staff development to improve service delivery, efficiency and turnaround time, and reviewing policies in line with the transformation agenda and change employee behaviour towards high institutional impact.
