Unisa Midlands Region successfully hosts spring graduation ceremony
On Tuesday 10 October 2023, Unisa’s Midlands Region held a graduation ceremony to confer certificates and degrees on deserving students who successfully completed their qualifications. Graduates pitched up in their numbers to witness their cohort graduate at the ceremony held at the Doxa Deo auditorium in Bloemfontein.
PhD graduates
Both the afternoon and evening sessions were devoted to the graduates of all colleges, while the latter was made more momentous with three students receiving PhDs and several students passing with distinction.
As Unisa is celebrating its 150th birthday this year, branding commemorating this momentous occasion could be seen throughout the venue. Students were thrilled to take pictures with their peers, friends and families against Unisa-branded backdrops.
