Purpose: This module aims to equip students with advanced knowledge, skills, and practical expertise in security risk management, executive risk management, and security risk governance. In the context of security risk management, students are introduced to theoretical concepts and various security risk management models that are fundamental to developing an advanced understanding of security risk management risk management which can then be practically applied in industry. In the context of executive risk management, students will gain advanced knowledge and understanding of best practices in terms of developing an executive risk management model to ensure the safety of both executives (executive protection) and the various tangible and intangible assets specific to an organisation. In the context of security risk governance, students will gain advanced knowledge and understanding of applicable industry regulations, policies, legislations, and best practices in order to develop and effectively implement business continuity and organisation resilience in an organisation, when and as the need arises. |
