Purpose: The purpose of this module is to enable students to develop a deeper understanding of how to engage learners' algebraic thinking processes, and the modelling of situations which will lead to algebraic language and symbolising. Functional relationships form a very important basis of the further trajectory for concept development in higher grades. This module endeavours to address the basic structures of functions and algebra in a sound framework which is imperative for future learning.
