| Purpose: The purpose of the module is to build on students' existing foundation of knowledge, skills and attitudes relating to strategic labour relations management. This module prepares students with a comprehensive and systematic knowledge field and a depth of knowledge and to enable students to manage labour relations at both strategic and operational levels, thereby contributing to the achievement of organisational objectives. The learning in relation to this module is facilitated within the framework of relevant legislation that govern the South African labour relations as the parameters for establishing sound labour relations management practices. This module is envisaged to facilitate sound labour relations management abilities in organisations and beyond organisational boundaries, all of which will be aligned with a vision of working towards sound and successful labour relations in South Africa. |
