| Purpose: Students who complete this module will be able to explain how automation and automation technologies are integrated into production systems. These technologies include control technologies, materials handling and identification technologies, and inspection technologies, they will also be able to perform calculations to assess the performance of these technologies, and to compile programmes in basic applications in automated production systems. |
