| Purpose: The module forms part of the Diploma in Agricultural Management. It is intended for technicians, researchers, farm managers, trainers and facilitators in the field of agricultural management. It will be useful for students who want to pursue agricultural management or farming as a career.
Students accredited with this module are able to: describe how to utilise the correct management principles to agricultural resources, value agricultural assets to determine their depreciation value, analyse the total capital investment according to different types of capital, determine the correct enterprise in production economics for both animal and plant production and understand the market orientation of agricultural products.
