Purpose: On completion of this module students will be able to explain and clarify zoogeographical distribution patterns, ethology, animal adaptations to the environment, and genetics within the context of conservation. This module provides fundamental knowledge which will provide support to further studies in the field of Nature Conservation. It also serves as part of the theoretical framework for the students' Work Integrated Learning.
