Purpose: of this module will be able to apply a generally accepted disease identification methodology to identify non-controlled diseases, plan the relevant measures needed to support the identification, and recommend treatment and prevention measures for non-controlled diseases. Through veterinary extension they can also effectively advise farmers in the Southern African context on the implementation of primary animal health care by identifying, treating and preventing common non-controlled diseases.
