Purpose: The purpose of this module is to build an understanding of existing research theories or philosophies, approaches and designs to be applied, when doing practical research in the discipline of Police Science. The main focus of the module is to develop critical skills and knowledge for the application of research paradigms, approaches and designs used in addressing problems in Police Science. This module will equip students with the knowledge and skills to apply social science research theories to do research in the Police Science discipline.
