| Purpose: This module intends to promote multilingualism and intercultural communication in IsiZulu as a Second Additional Language for student teachers with no or little background knowledge of the language. It will provide student teachers with the opportunity to learn the basic language structure and vocabulary of IsiZulu. Student teachers who achieve the outcomes of this course will be able to communicate on an elementary level with speakers of the language. They will be equipped with basic reading, listening and comprehension skills with emphasis on listening and speaking skills. |
