Purpose: The purpose of this module is to equip qualifying student teachers with the appropriate skills and knowledge of Sepedi Literature for First Additional language in the Foundation Phase. Qualifying graduates will be provided with the skills of interpreting literary texts in Sepedi, with an emphasis on children's literature. The qualifying student teacher will be able to write about the genres of poetry, prose and oral literature with attention to the author's creative choices regarding language.
