| Purpose: this module will provide students with information regarding the current trends in bioprocessing technology and engineering. Developments in biotechnology and its applications in food procession, biopolymers, dairy and meat science, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals will be taught. Industrial bioprocess technology for the conversion of raw agricultural products to useful food products will be demonstrated. |
