| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to provide learners with the foundational knowledge to grasp concepts in Business Management. Learners will be able to develop a detailed understanding of the relevant business functions associated with small businesses. These business functions include general management, financial management, marketing, operations, purchasing, human resources, information management and public relations. An in-depth knowledge of the functional areas as well as the appropriate activities associated with the functional areas of small businesses, can in turn be applied to business practice. This encompassing process encourages entrepreneurship and small business management. |
