Purpose: The purpose of this module is to provide students with an understanding of how relevant legislation and policies, amongst others, address child, youth and family care in an effort to bring about social justice and enhance human development. Qualifying students will be able to understand social work intervention processes pertaining to child, youth and family at micro, meso and macro levels as well as examine the roles and functions of members within a multidisciplinary team as related to intervention.
