Purpose: The purpose of this module is help students who want to gain a deeper conceptual understanding of guiding and environmental education. Guiding focuses on nature based guiding, types of guides, preparation of game drive & equipment, off-road driving and night drives, types of guided trails. Environmental education focuses on introduction to environmental education in general, the importance and the history of environmental education, sustainable living and development, trends in Environmental education and learner centered and teacher centered activities. Students registering for this module are required to have regular access to a computer and the internet in order to download or read essential study material from the myUnisa module site and world wide web. This module will be presented online, and no study material will be posted for this module.
