Purpose: This module focuses on the basic principles of ecology and the management of marine and estuarine habitats. The module also provides an introduction to coastal forest and wetland ecology and management. The basic principles in this module are generic, but examples will orignate from a Southern African context. This module will require practical fieldwork in various habitats.
