| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to equip students with knowledge, skills and to practically apply the theory and principles of crime prevention at an intermediate to advanced level. The module will equip students with knowledge to understand the relationship between the media and policing, operational inspections, innovative approaches to crime prevention and internal organisational culture. This module will enable students to practice the principles of Africanisation, Ubuntu, humanizing policing practice and social responsibilities within communities that they serve.
