| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to provide students with an understanding of the current issues and problems facing the South African Private Security Industry at a management level thereby gaining integrated knowledge, skills and applied competence on the regulatory and legislative controls side of the management of security. This knowledge will assist students in the implementation of the necessary supervisory, managerial and technical knowledge, values and skills for the more effective and efficient functioning of the provision of security services throughout society at different security workplaces as found in the highly diversified security environment in South Africa and abroad. The module is aimed at people employed in the public or private sector, and especially those with relevant experience in security services or related fields. |
