| Purpose: The purpose of this module is for students to acquire knowledge and insight around dealing with child offenders. Students who qualify in this module will gain problem solving skills, knowledge and competencies about juvenile justice in South Africa. Students will be encouraged to think holistically about the handling of young offenders in the discipline of Criminology. This module provides students with an awareness for dealing with young offenders, by providing them with solutions to problems at local, regional and national level.
