Purpose: This module will be useful to students who would like to understand how people develop in their faith; the role of faith in personal, congregational/community and social transformation. It will also prepare students for in-depth study of youth ministry/work. The module will empower prospective pastors, youth workers, religious leaders and lay leaders with theoretical knowledge of a contextual nature and practical skills in the areas of faith development and of the young person in specific religious contexts. The activities contained in this module are designed to assist the student in internalising the content by way of a process of reading, reflection and action.
