Purpose: The module will be useful to students who are interested in studying the gastrointestinal tract function, endocrine system and its control, and metabolism. Students credited with this module can explain the scope of Physiology and relate it to other fields of science, describe the physiological anatomy of the digestive tract and its functions as well as the endocrine system and its control, and explain how energy is generated through different metabolic pathways.
