Purpose: The purpose of the module is to explore the relationships between society and the emergence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the anthropological implications of the 4th Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0). This will be done by examining how advancements such as artificial intelligence, automation, and digital communication tools are reshaping human interactions and cultural norms. This module seeks to provide students with the analytical tools to respond to the challenges presented by the 4th industrial revolution. Lastly, students will also be equipped with practical skills to respond to societal challenges presented by industry 4.0. TEACHING OBJECTIVE: is to cultivate students' critical thinking and foster lifelong learning. The module also offers a comprehensive understanding of ethnographic examples relevant to societies in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Additionally, students will be equipped with practical anthropological skills to respond to the challenges posed by this revolutionary period.
