Purpose: This qualification is primarily scientific knowledge oriented, characterised by the knowledge emphasis, focusing on advanced principles in electricity and magnetism and its advanced application of Electrical Engineering technology. The module provides students with a sound knowledge in a sub-field of Natural Science with general applications in the engineering domain. The purpose of this module is mainly to provide students that wishes to pursue with a post graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or to follow a future career in Research and Development in Electrical Engineering with adequate knowledge and skills background. The project part of this module will also introduce the students to important aspects of research methodology.
