| Purpose: This module focuses on the engineering process costing needs of technical people such as engineers, technologists, scientists and technicians. The purpose of this module is to introduce engineering students to industrial costing management environments and to equip them with the required knowledge and skills. On completion of this module they will be able to apply industrial costing principles in their organisations. The focus of this module is on content of particular importance to technical persons involved with project management, techno-economic analysis, production process and those working in manufacturing industries.
