| Purpose: Students will be introduced to various environmental educational concepts, the development and impact of environmental education in South Africa, the design of an environmental educational programme and the development of a communication strategy for effective liaison between communities and protected areas management to address environmental issues and risks, for a sustainable environment. The module is of an interdisciplinary nature and will be appropriate for a wide variety of prospective students who have at least some human science or biological science education and experience. |
