| Purpose: This module is compulsory for Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering. The purpose of this module is to enable students develop competencies and skills in the design and operation of pollution control and impact mitigation systems. Specifically, the following aspects are dealt with; water supply and treatment, wastewater treatment, air pollution, noise pollution, solid waste management, and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). |
