Purpose: After completing this module, students will be able to explain and evaluate the norms and values that promote democratic public administration in order to enable them to identify and analyse ethical issues in public administration, develop solutions to these, and act with professionalism. Students will have the ability to engage with scholarly literature and case studies relevant to the principles underlying administrative justice such as fairness, reasonableness and lawfulness and to interpret the contribution of these principles to transparency, accountability and active participation in public administration.
