Purpose: The purpose of this module is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of theories regarding learner support in education settings and introduce them to a range of readings to enable them to apply the relevant theories and to develop innovative and contextually relevant responses to facilitation and support issues. Students are required to investigate and interrogate knowledge and skills related to the facilitation of personal, learning and career challenges in learners from Foundation Phase to the FET Band in South African schools. |
