Purpose: The purpose of the module is to equip students with the competence to assess and analyse financial information for reasonableness and accuracy and report according to the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant reporting frameworks. Qualifying students will be able to apply integrated knowledge and understanding of theories and principles to complex problems drawing on appropriate ethical values and approaches relevant to financial reporting.
