| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to enable the graduating student to estimate and perform calculations related to pipe flows and discharge calculations. The student will also be able to estimate and perform the efficiency calculations of thermal turbo-machines that have been subjected to a variety of operating conditions. Furthermore, the qualifying student will be able to perform thermal design calculations using design data books and materials data books wisely. The student acquires specific knowledge and understanding of Compressible flows in turbomachines. | |||
