Global Business Management IB - MNB3702

Under Graduate Degree Semester module NQF level: 7 Credits: 12
Module presented in English Module presented online
Pre-requisite: MNB3701
Purpose: The purpose of this module is to introduce students to both the theories and contemporary practices of Global Business Management. Students are exposed to effective global business strategies and provided with insight into the complexity of managing an international business in the African context. The module provides perspectives on cross-border operations from both the small-to-medium and multinational business, encouraging entrepreneurial ventures that will contribute to the development of African economies. The module's practical approach to the concepts of internationalising African businesses, entering and competing in new markets, and structuring and managing global business operations make it exceptionally relevant for managers involved in, or contemplating involvement in, international business.
