Purpose: This module forms part of the PGD (business administration). The qualification aims to provide students with competencies to function effectively on entry and middle management level. Students who complete this module will have the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to analyse the global business environment with a view to make informed business decisions. This implies that they will be enabled to integrate closed and open systems thinking; to evaluate global business opportunities for purposes of decision-making; and to design solutions for cross border business relationships. The module provides fundamental competencies which will support further studies and applications in the fields of Business Administration.
