| Purpose: The module is intended to develop the studentﾒs potential and chances of employability in a design for the environment (DfE) field where green technology and innovation are key factors determining success. The studentﾒs skills, knowledge, attributes, understanding and competencies will be shaped in line with the demands in the workplace relating to critical decision-making and problem solving in the field of operations management. The module content which will empower the student with the understanding and knowledge to synthesise, evaluate, analyse and apply the DfE key concepts are DfE principles; Sustainable DfE; Categories of DfE; Green Fundamentals; The Environmental cost; and major environment management institutions. |
