| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to enable the graduating students to successfully perform Heat and mass transfer calculations in all there modes of heat transfer namely conduction convection and radiation. This module also provides necessary skills to the graduating students to perform thermal design calculations related heat exchangers. Towards the end of the module students will be able to apply the principles of Mass transfer and draw analogy between heat and mass transfer. Furthermore, the qualifying students will be able to perform thermal design calculations using Heat and mass transfer data books wisely. The student acquires specific knowledge and understanding of Heat and mass transfer operations for a variety of situations in the industry. | |||
