Purpose: The purpose of this module is to provide students with an overview of the hospitality industry and equip them with a detailed knowledge base of important terms, concepts and principles. Furthermore, qualifying students will be able to analyse the different segments of the hospitality product as well as principles and procedures of accommodation, housekeeping and food & beverage management. Students are also made aware of the current and future issues that influence the hospitality industry. |
