Purpose: The purpose of this module is to equip students with the integrated knowledge and skills to effectively manage housing development in South Africa.The module will assist students in developing their understanding of the complexity of housing policy-making and, as a result being able to ensure optimal service delivery. The students will further be able to identify shortcomings facing human settlements and suggest appropriate solutions in the provision of houses. Students are finally exposed to land ownership and management in South Africa.
