Purpose: This module is intended for students and practitioners who are pursuing a career in the field of Industrial and Organisational Psychology or Human Resource Management. The purpose of the module is to gain comprehensive and specialised knowledge, critical reasoning ability and applied competence in psychological assessment as a core sub-discipline of IOP. This standard describes competencies aimed at deepening knowledge, understanding and critical reasoning and functional competence to address real-world problems related to the field of Industrial Psychological Assessment in the global, African and South African multi-cultural work context.
