| Purpose: The student as educator will have a critical sense of location in the South African education system and will be able to interpret past and present education developments. The student will be in a position to play a role in contributing towards future education provision which demonstrates responsiveness to changing circumstances and needs. The student will explore the development and current context of education in South Africa as well as other countries of the world. Educators/students will engage with the global and international scenarios, case studies and their own teaching context to explore the provision of education in contexts characterised by diversity and ongoing change. | |||
