Purpose: It is intended for Agricultural Development Technicians, trainers and facilitators in the field of agricultural economics. It will be useful for students who pursue agriculture or farming as a career. Students accredited with this module will be able to apply the agricultural production economics principles to agriculture by keeping themselves informed about the current economic system of South Africa and the agricultural environment in that economic system.
