| Purpose: The module is intended for those pursuing a career in Corrections in South Africa. The module introduces students to the basic management functions in corrections, Students will discuss conflict and motivation as phenomena in corrections. Students will gain basic knowledge of the occurrence of sexual harassment among role players in corrections as well as safety requirements and discipline in the working environment. The student will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage movement control of individuals in corrections. |
