Purpose: The purpose of this module is to equip students with an integrated knowledge of the main concepts, theory, techniques and applications of linear algebra over the real or complex field as it relates to general vector spaces, inner product spaces, linear operators on these spaces and their canonical forms. This will contribute to a knowledge base for further studies in mathematics and for applications in other disciplines.
