Purpose: The purpose of this module is to provide students with in-depth knowledge, skills and competencies in theoretical and practical application of relevant principles, processes, procedures and techniques related to the field of logistics in either the private, the government or in NGO business sectors. An in-depth understanding of the processes as well as best practice in the field of logistics, will enable students to strategically solve business problems. Furthermore, students will be empowered to contribute to the economic well-being of the South African and global business environment by demonstrating competences in logistics as a strategically important area for sustaining businesses.
