| Purpose: Students who successfully complete the module will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide and manage knowledge and information services and collection development in the library and information services (LIS) environment to ensure effective and efficient service delivery. Students should be able to demonstrate the ability to learn and provide online resources in an interactive online environment and should also demonstrate the ability to present and communicate information and opinions in well-structured arguments. This module is intended for graduates, who hold a Bachelor's degree in any other field other than information science and who wish to develop their career in LIS. Provision of information and knowledge services forms an integral part of LIS environment. | |||
