| Purpose: This module is intended for all people who are pursuing a post graduate degree in the field of Industrial and Organisational Psychology. The purpose of the acquired competencies is to enable students and practitioners to apply knowledge, insight and reasoning in assisting individuals teams and organisations to critically evaluate and engage in organisational behaviour related activities that contribute to individual, teams and organisational performance. The ultimate aim is the enhancement of quality of work life in the work environment. Qualifying students are able to critically:
- Reason about concepts of organisational behaviour, culture and change.
- Review and reason about the principals and theories underlying the psychology of managing individual behaviour within organisational context.
- Review and reason about principles and practices in managing group and team behaviour in an organisational context.
- Evaluate and reason about leadership theories and their applications in organisational context.
