| Purpose: The purpose of the modules is to equip students with a knowledge of the materials used in all the types of Dam construction. They will gain comparative knowledge of material properties (physical and structural) for most common and advanced Dam materials and understanding the methods of various types of Dam construction. This module is compulsory and core for the Bachelor of Engineering Technology Honours in Civil Engineering in Water Engineering. | |||
