| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to enable students to develop an informed understanding of algebraic thinking and modelling processes which will lead to the use of algebraic language and symbolising. Functional relationships form a very important basis of the trajectory for concept development for further studies in Mathematics. Students who complete this module will be able to address the basic structures of functions and algebra in a sound framework.
