Purpose: The purpose of this module is to enable qualifying students to be able to analyze pipe flow, viscous flow, vortices, forces exerted by moving fluids, pipe friction, pumps, pipe systems, in fluid power systems within the field of fluid Power Engineering. Students will also develop skills and competencies in conducting experiments and to report findings in an acceptable format based on prescribed topics within the field of fluids engineering that will be covered in this module.
