| Purpose: This module as part of the Postgraduate Diploma in Language Education aims to equip students to use their acquired theoretical knowledge and experience to better understand the language learning needs of learners in a multilingual/ multicultural educational environment. Students registered for this module will be able to apply their knowledge and skills to critically evaluate various language teaching practices in multilingual settings. On completion of this module students will be in a position to teach learners from diverse cultural and multilingual backgrounds. Students will also be able to appreciate and integrate the different forms of knowing in their classrooms. |
